Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney gets credit from most GOP voters when it comes to his time at Bain Capital. In the latest Economist/YouGov Poll (Week of 1/21/2012), 54% of GOP voters credit Romney with creating jobs during his time at Bain Capital. Just 14% say he eliminated jobs during his tenure. 

However, that positive assessment is not shared by most Americans. Among the public overall, just 21% call Romney a job creator; nearly one in three say he eliminated jobs.
