It’s been a busy year for the giant of Cupertino. The most valuable company in the world launched a highly anticipated smartwatch, invested heavily in its ApplePay program and expanded retail partnerships, , all while reimagining its signature laptop. You’d imagine that these announcements would take center stage, but the company managed to overshadow them with the launch of its own streaming apps, Apple music and Beats Radio.

The largest fast food chain in the world seems to never miss out on any trends. This year it decided to forgo the use of artificial ingredients in its menu and showed America how much it loved guacamole by making it a permanent addition to its list of add-ons.

With a growing TV market share and a smartphone that many considered to be the best Android device to ever hit the market, it’s no wonder that the Samsung brand continues to shine yet again.

#8 Google 
“Do not tamper with something that’s not broken”. It’s seems following the famous adage worked for Google, which garnered sufficient Buzz to make the top ten once again. Good news for a company that still has major projects in the works like self-driving cars and a revamped Google Glass.

#9 Ford
After a year of transition which saw the company undergo a CEO change, it seems the company is still trying to find its footing. Although the period has been mixed for the American manufacturer, the decided focus on the Lincoln brand might just bring about the momentum needed for Ford to regain the unbeatable shine it once had.

#10 Lowe's
The home improvement company is still committed to delighting its costumers all over the world. After announcing it would phase out all products containing several pesticides that may damage honey bees, Lowe’s announced it would provide 3D printing options to costumers to allow them to create and produce the items that best reflect their personality.

Top Buzz Improvers

#1 General Motors - #4 Chevrolet - #5 Buick 
Lower gas prices have been extremely good incentives for customers considering buying SUVs. Riding this wave of enthusiasm for bigger cars, the Detroit-based car maker seems to have overcome the troubles it felt last year and reported higher sales this year following a strong domestic demand for those vehicles.

This wave seems to benefit other GM brands in the portfolio, as Chevrolet and Buick are also among our best improvers.

#2 Target 
The company seems to have mastered the way to overcome very bad news, following the late 2013 data breach, Target underwent thorough change and managed to command one of the best improvements in brand perception of the period. The company is now looking forward with the new CEO recently announcing a partnership with CVS to better their health services.

#3 Trivago 
The German company is shaking up the online travel industry thanks to its Trivago guy. The company is now leading its rivals in Buzz score and Buzz improvement and is experiencing record bookings through its website.

#6 Royal Caribbean Cruises 
With short getaways becoming increasingly popular, the established leisure company decided it will continue to offer short cruises with new itineraries starting 2016. And in order to give its costumers the perfect adventure, the cruise line is upgrading its Majesty of the Seas ship with free, unlimited Internet, water rides, an enhanced casino and a poolside movie screen.

# 7 Flonase 
Few products have skyrocketed to a top position in so little time. Flonase, GlaxoSmithKline’s new allergy medicine has already generated more than a $100,000,000 in sales after being approved by the FDA for over-the-counter sale in the US. The allergy relief medication manages one of the best buzz improvement scores at this time.


# 9 Amazon Instant Video 
The streaming service from Amazon is taking advantage of two positive waves. Cord cutters are increasingly searching for new ways to consume media and Amazon is offering one of the best deals out there, with original content like Transparent recently wining the Golden Globe for best TV series. Furthermore, the bundling of the service with the highly popular Prime membership exposes an audience of millions to the streaming service.

#10 Princess Cruises 
The company celebrated its 50th anniversary with a blast. Princess featured a Regal Princess float in the 126th Rose Parade held on January 1st in Pasadena, California. The opportunity was simply perfect to showcase its newest ship and organize a reunion of the original cast of the 1970s show, The Love Boat.
