The YouGov Affluent Perspective Global Study focuses on the world’s most elite consumers. In the United States, our respondents are demographically representative of the most affluent households – those with a minimum of $150,000 household income—which we benchmark against a 1,000 person study of America’s non-affluent wage earners.. What is distinctive is our ability to provide readable samples of four segments: the Base Affluent ($150,000-249,000 HHI), the Middle Affluent ($250,000-399,000 HHI), and the Upper Affluent ($400,000+ HHI) as well as the Wealthy ($1MM+ HHI), a subset of high-asset Upper Affluent consumers. Annually, we collect more than 2,500 online surveys among this affluent population and we re-contact these survey respondents throughout the year to add breadth and depth to our insights and to give our clients the ability to influence the course of the research. Finally, we survey 2,500 consumers at the upper end of the world's economy outside of the U.S. - including consumers from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Canada and Australia.
