In the 1930s, Gutzon Borglum and his son Lincoln sculpted one of the United States best-known landmarks, the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The sculpture is carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota and features 60-foot sculptures of the heads of four United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

For President’s Day YouGov Omnibus asked which President deserved to be immortalized alongside the notable Presidents already carved into Mount Rushmore. Ronald Reagan was the most popular at 21% followed by John F. Kennedy and Franklin D Roosevelt at 15% and Barack Obama at 13%. Men were much more likely to chose Ronald Reagan than women (25% to 18%) and women favored J.F. Kennedy over men (18% to 11%)

We asked which President has done the most for the country. 17% said Abraham Lincoln, next came George Washington (14%) and Ronald Reagan (13%). Respondents who identified themselves as Black also favored Abraham Lincoln (20%) followed by Barack Obama (17%).

Finally we asked which President our panelists would like to spend an evening with. 15% chose to spend their evening with Barack Obama, then Abraham Lincoln (13%) followed by Ronald Reagan (10%) and Bill Clinton (9%).

If the head of another president were to be added to the sculpture, which ONE president do you think it should be?
