A new survey suggests that 52% of US males support Lahren's logic that favoring limited government should result in a pro-choice attitude, compared to 42% of females

During a recent appearance on The View, conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren defended her pro-choice stance as follows: "I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies."

According to a

new YouGov survey

, 52% of men either mostly or somewhat agree with Lahren's statement, compared to 42% of women. When it comes to political parties, 57% of Democrats and 38% of Republicans agree. Overall, 47% of US adults show support for Lahren's comments, while 35% disagree and 18% aren't sure.

When asked if they support or oppose the reported decision to permanently ban Lahren from the conservative multiplatform network TheBlaze, where she hosted her own show, after her comments went viral, 28% of the public support this decision, compared to 42% who oppose it.

Additional data shows that US adults are more likely than not to think Lahren’s pro-choice comments on The View were an attempt to make herself more appealing to a mainstream audience.
