Kristen holds an MS in Public Policy from SUNY Stony Brook and a BS in business management from Clemson University. She has been with YouGov since 2010 where she directs custom research for clients in industries including education, media, retail and more.
In additional to strategic custom work, Kristen directs two nationally recognized initiatives: Primary Sources, a project of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Scholastic, and the Kids & Family Reading Report produced with Scholastic. Primary Sources focuses on teachers’ views related to Common Core, its implementation and impact on students, teachers’ views on evaluation systems, parent engagement, views on the profession and more, while the Kids & Family Reading Report showcases the views and behaviors and parents and kids hold towards reading.
Prior to joining YouGov, Kristen ran multiple tracking studies for Yankelovich, Disney and Nickelodeon among youth and families. The results of these studies were used to develop and apply consumer insights and trends-findings to solve various business issues including: branding, product development, target group profiles and marketing strategy across a wide-range of clients.
Kristen lives in Connecticut with her husband and five sons. She is an elected member of her local school board and is an active community volunteer.
