North Korea escalates threats

Concerns about North Korea continue to grow as a series of photographs released Friday show leader Kim Jong-un meeting with top generals about attacking the United States.

As the Telegraph reports, the photographs depict "Kim signing the order for North Korea's strategic rocket forces to be on standby to fire at US targets...with large-scale maps and diagrams in the background (...)" Purported targets included Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and, more curiously, Austin, TX.

The meeting was prompted by the US sending two nuclear-capable B-2 bombers which carried out training missions Thursday. This comes after North Korea cut all ties with South Korea earlier this week, the latest in a string of increasingly bellicose moves by the Communist country.
