Small and mid-sized businesses constitute the majority of seven million active advertisers on Facebook.
To support the growth of SMBs, Facebook has recently launched four new features: automated ads, appointments, video creative tools and Blueprint training courses. Though appointment feature was already available through Messenger, SMBs can now manage them through their business pages as well as Instagram accounts via their smartphones.
Facebook’s newly added automated ads feature is aimed to help SMBs save time. Facebook claims that even SMBs with minimum expertise will be able to create campaigns by simply answering some questions.
With new video creative tool, SMBs can easily create and edit video content via their mobile phones. The feature enables users to trim the length of the video and add text or images while also allowing them to crop non-vertical videos of any aspect ratio.
