Professional social network LinkedIn said it is launching new Call-to-action buttons with ad targeting capabilities for page admins and to track engagement. LinkedIn said it will also offer community hashtags to allow page admins to connect with users using hashtags.

The new call-to-action buttons include five options: contact us, register, sign up, learn more and visit the website. The piece says that the buttons have a click-through analytics feature which can be accessed on the left side of the Page Dashboard or at the top of the Visitor Analytics tab.

The Microsoft owned network said that the new features would only be available on desktop. Page admins will also be able to use mobile devices to edit LinkedIn pages and posts that are already published.
