LinkedIn has announced brand awareness, website conversions and job applications as three new ad objectives in Campaign Manager. The updates are a response to the “biggest marketing challenges” shared by marketers with the platform.
LinkedIn has also renewed the ad pricing model where the new objectives will be aligned to a different pricing style. Through brand awareness, a campaign can be shared with a broader audience. Marketers will be charged by impressions for the use of this objective.
Website conversions can show how many people have viewed the ad, those that clicked through and the conversion rate. Brands will only be charged for this objective if a user clicks through to the landing page. The upgrade will also allow customers of LinkedIn Talent Solutions to create ads through Campaign Manager.
