Launched by Ad Council, the new unit will advise non-profits, foundations and corporations.

The Ad Council has established a new consultancy, Ad Council Edge. The thought behind this launch is to assist “companies create, focus and/or reimagine their social issue strategies”.

Ad Council Edge will provide advice on research, strategy, development and training to foundations, corporations and nonprofits. Derrick Feldmann has been appointed as the consultancy’s managing director.

Lisa Sherman, President and CEO at Ad Council stated that through Ad Council Edge, Ad Council is looking to share expertise with partners that are “equally invested in making the world a better place”. At present, consultancy projects include developing marketing strategies for voting and civic engagement issues for foundations and nonprofits.
