This article cites a study which found that 72% of the 1,000 creative and digital marketing decision makers surveyed don’t intend to optimise for video search in 2019-2020. 17% of those polled either already have or intend to optimise for voice search in the same period.

Also, 35% of respondents said that they plan to optimise for visual search in 2019-2020. The study highlights that video marketing is indicated to be the top priority of 76% of the respondents in the next 12 months.

62% of participants plan to use Facebook newsfeed videos as part of their video marketing strategy and 76% of them would include Instagram Stories. The other video marketing types that the respondents would consider are, gifs at 52% and cinemagraphs at 31%.
