Only accumulated results of polls will be shared with advertisers.
Facebook has expanded its interactive ad formats to include poll, playable and AR ads. The social media platform is moving poll ads to the main feed of the Facebook mobile app. For augmented reality ads, it is moving from the testing to the open beta phase.
Additionally, Facebook will be making playable ads accessible to all advertisers. Mark D’Arcy, CCO and VP of global business marketing at Facebook said that launching polls, games and AR in ads aren’t relatively new ideas, but have been “heavy” experiences in the past.
Facebook is making these formats “super lightweight, fun and super scalable” by bringing them front-and-center. Any image created by the user using AR ad can be saved to camera rolls and will not be shared with advertisers.
