Google’s Shopping ads will now have more visibility on YouTube

TrueView will now have sitelinks for action ads.

As per a recent announcement by Google, the company will extend Shopping ads to more YouTube inventory. This means the ads will appear on YouTube home feed and YouTube search results.

It has also announced that Showcase Shopping ads will be available to more categories. These will now show in Google Images as well and have been designed to run on broad product category terms. Additionally, sitelinks for TrueView for action ads will be rolled out “in the coming months.”

The company is currently testing sitelinks and the 30 advertisers participating in the test have reported a 23% jump in conversions on deploying them. Through the sitelinks, users can access additional landing pages from the video ads.
