A research by PSFK was conducted wherein 500 US consumers aged 18-55 were surveyed.

As per the study, 49% of consumers reported shopping frequently on their mobile devices. 70% of respondents expect retailers to offer “the same level of personal service” across physical stores, online or mobile.

Additionally, 87% of participants would want to be able to choose order delivery times as per their convenience. Further, 76% of those polled are open to buying from different stores of the same retail chain if those stores have different products and services.

90% of consumers are interested in being able to choose the kind of rewards they receive from loyalty programs. Also, 73% of shoppers would want to shop from stores offering add-on services such as online order returns and alterations.
