In 2019, 57% of enterprise executives shared similar optimism.
This article cites a report by Everest Group which revealed that where 45% of enterprise executives are optimistic about growth in 2020, another 28% are predicting a decline or a flat performance in the year. This is jump of 22% from 2019.
Recapping 2019, 43% of participants reported having had a “slightly better than expected” year. Despite an anticipated economic downturn, 45% of respondents would prioritise investing in customer experience as a “critical change” in business model.
Another 33% of those polled have identified operational efficiency as an area of innovation for the next couple of years. Further, 60% of respondents across all departments increasingly expect to adopt a data-driven approach against 34% of those who prefer a relationship-driven approach.
