An Atlassian Corporation study surveyed US employees and found that 61% Gen Z and 65% millennials think businesses can improve climate change’s impact by acting now.
The report revealed that 60% of American employees believe businesses must be as concerned about their societal impact, as they are with their financial performance. Another 73% believe that companies must take full responsibility for their environmental impact.
32% of respondents note that if their employer’s actions don’t align with their values, they would quit their jobs. 61% of Gen Z and 65% of millennials further believe businesses can improve climate change’s impact if they act now.
57% of those polled think that, on social issues that are important to the community, business leaders should publicly encourage government to act. Another 62% believe they should hold politicians to account on major issues.
