The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) has created a new committee to help the industry handle coronavirus-related marketing issues. The committee intends to provide actionable guidance to marketers, including brand experience and innovation during the pandemic.

Committee members include members of the Global CMO Growth Council, a CMO network run by ANA and Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. ANA’s CEO Bob Liodice, EVP Nick Primola, and VP Meg Wubbenhorst will be at the forefront of the council.

The group plans to hold regular virtual meetings during the crisis and address industry-specific and regional needs. Liodice points out that the council needs to create a practical framework to identify “trusted, reliable and relevant sources of information” for executives during the crisis.
