The organisers said the event has been postponed to next year as the marketing, creative and media industries have been severely impacted by coronavirus pandemic. The step has been taken as companies have shifted priorities to serving consumers with essentials, and are focussing on preserving society and economies. 

The article further states that the move came after weeks of speculations that even if the event were to be held in October, it would be thinly attended. Many big ad firms were likely to either skip the event or at least not send top personalities, to the event this year.
