73% of communicators have “plenty” or “adequate” time with C-suite to discuss communications objectives.
A study surveyed PR executives and found that 77.10% of executives consider ensuring the health and safety of employees their company’s top priority. For 41% of respondents, it’s “staying afloat”. Other priorities include communicating regularly with customers and finding new clients and revenue streams.
Further, 56.54% of executives are counselling clients to continue pitching non-virus related stories where and when appropriate. However, 31.31% of executives disagree with this approach. 77.57% of executives are advising clients to over-communicate with their staff.
67.76% of communicators would share normal company updates, health information, emphasis on stress reduction and work from home. 48.13% of those polled are keeping abreast of trends and continuously strategising a plan to share non-coronavirus messaging for when the pandemic eases.
