Marketers must focus on creating “hub content” which means creating episodic content wherein format, schedule, cast and topic are consistent. Having done this, businesses must create more content that people have been rewatching and ditch the content that is costing viewers.
Gradually, watch time must be increased and content must improve on its quality. The author recommends asking consumers that have made it to the end of a video to subscribe to the channel.
