Amazon devices like Fire TV and home digital media players are seeing more users and increased hours, with people coming back to the devices frequently. Fire TV could have accelerated “durable changes” like cord cutting, states Whitten.
The use of voice-activated devices like Amazon Echo and tablets could also increase due to work from home habits. Whitten adds, “We’re seeing people find ways that these devices can be more useful for them when they lose a bunch of their other options”.
