A survey of 200 PR executives revealed that most are confident about the industry rebounding post-pandemic.
The PRNEWS survey states 25.14% of PR pros have “very much” reconsidered their crisis communications amid the pandemic, and 43.72% have changed their procedures “a bit”. While 69.95% of PR pros are uncertain about the future, 88% of respondents believe the industry will bounce back stronger post-pandemic.
When asked about changes in internal communications since April, 67.76% reported communicating a lot more with employees and 56.83% stressed on more personal and empathetic communications. Further, 44% included diversity and inclusion in information as part of their both internal and external communications.
However, 47% believe “it’s impossible to say” as to when internal pandemic-related communications can be slowed down. 54% reported planning communications strategy two to four weeks ahead.
