Influencers streaming on Amazon Live will have their own dedicated Amazon storefront.

The ecommerce platform has rolled out Amazon Live to allow influencers from the Amazon Influencer Program to earn commissions from purchases made through their live streams. The Amazon Live program requires approval for influencers to join and provides them with their own page with an Amazon URL.

The Amazon Live Creator app lets influencers broadcast products, live stream, and chat with viewers as they shop. While this isn’t Amazon’s first attempt at live content, Amazon Live is diverse with content categories like cooking, fitness, electronics and much more.

As influencers grow their fan base they will level up from “Rising Star” to “Insider” to “A-List” with various rewards and features. Amazon Live’s Director, Munira Rahemtulla, says, “Livestreaming enables creativity, connection, and inspiration, and the opportunities are endless.”
