Facebook will now publish its Community Standard Enforcement reports on a quarterly basis, with the next set to be released in August.
Facebook has outlined a range of changes to its content monetisation policies and brand safety controls. These changes include an audit of its partner and content monetisation policies and a review of policies around hate speech.
The audit and review will be conducted in partnership with the Media Rating Council (MRC) and Global Alliance for Responsible Media. The measures will analyse development and enforcement of Partner Monetisation Policies and assess brand safety controls to ads shown within publisher content.
Additionally, Facebook will seek certifications from independent groups, like Digital Trading Standards Group to achieve the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Gold Standard. Recently, the company conducted an information session on the value of increasing diverse representation in content.
