With COVID-19 impacting workflows, brands must leverage asynchronous videos to communicate with their clients and employees at their convenience. A Vidyard and Demand Metric study revealed that professionals using asynchronous recorded videos (made using tools they like) are 88% more likely to report an increase in revenue over the past 90 days.
Brands using these tools are 31% likely to report revenue improvements. 16% of respondents that were dissatisfied with the asynchronous video tool they were using reported revenue increase. Respondents satisfied with asynchronous and synchronous videos report a 30% revenue increase.
48% of brands use asynchronous video while prospecting, and 39% use it for meetings and follow-ups. Fear and hesitancy to be on camera was the top reason for not using videos.
