26% brands are new to the list of most patriotic brands in the US in 2020

The annual list of the most patriotic brands, as per the Brand Keys’ report, saw pandemic, politics and protests dramatically change the list.

The report states consumer affiliations towards US brands have been impacted by COVID-19, politics and protests which upended consumer loyalty and brand engagement. Jeep leads the list of 50 most patriotic brands, followed by Amazon at second place and Walmart at third place.

Other brands in the top ten were American Express and MSNBC tied at fourth position, and Clorox and Netflix tied at fifth place. Google saw its rank increase to 18, while Starbucks fell to 30.

Top 100 auto finishers were Ford (7), Tesla (58), Lincoln (67), Buick (78), Ram (82) and Chevrolet (85). Companies seen as “supportive during a national crisis” were Allstate, Farmers, and GEICO.
