Children can access kid-friendly music stations from iHeartRadio on Amazon Kids.
In a recent announcement, Amazon said it will be rebranding its kid-friendly service “FreeTime” to “Amazon Kids” and “FreeTime Unlimited” to “Amazon Kids Plus”. Along with the name change, the layout will be changed to look more like a traditional tablet in the next few weeks.
Recommended for kids aged eight and above, the service will have an Amazon Parent dashboard, allowing parents to modify age filters and designate content. While Amazon Kids is free, Kids Plus is priced at $5 for a monthly subscription.
Paid services include exclusive access to more audiobooks, books, shows, movies, games, and media in Spanish. Further, kids can broadcast announcements across Alexa devices in their Homes with Fire tablets.
