The move is part of the search engine’s overall rebranding strategy.
Washington-based tech giant Microsoft has rebranded its Bing search engine and renamed it to Microsoft Bing. With this rebranding, Bing now has its updated logo and a Microsoft Bing logo on the search engine’s homepage.
However, Microsoft is yet to clarify why they have added the company’s name to the Bing brand. They just said it reflects “the continued integration of our search experiences across the Microsoft family.”
In recent years, the Windows-company has added the Microsoft tag to many of its products, like the Windows Store changing to Microsoft Store and Office365 to Microsoft 365. Apart from rebranding, the company has also been gradually improving its separate Microsoft Search Product, which powers results across Windows and Office among others.
