Mobile gaming demographic in the US no longer restricted to young males only

Mobile gaming went up 62% since lockdown began in March 2020.

This holds up not only among the young population but also among “prime working-age consumers, females, and highly educated consumers.” 65% of respondents with $250k HHI reported playing mobile games once or several times daily.

But, of these, only 29% would self-identify themselves as “gamers.” In exchange for free rewards like in-game currency, nine in ten participants would choose to watch an ad, the report found.
