The streaming industry has grown 91.8% YoY with 7.46 billion hours of watched content, as per a recent report from Streamlabs.
The report states, at 63.6% or 4,741.4 million hours watched, Twitch is the most-watched gaming platform in Q3 2020. YouTube Gaming Live (22.5%) and Facebook (14%) had 1,675 and 1,041 million hours of watched hours respectively, in the same period.
Further, Twitch saw 205.6 million hours of games streamed, while hours of games streamed on Facebook and YouTube Gaming Live were 7.6 million and 12.5 million. However, YouTube’s growth for hours watched was the highest for Q3.
Also, at 90% Twitch has the most unique channels. Top esports watched were World League PUBG Mobile, LCK and League of Legends (European Championship). Tencent, Riot Games, and Epic Games were the most-watched publishers.
