US and other select markets will also see new “What’s Happening” and “Featured” sections.

In an effort to aid content discovery, new features have been rolled out to Facebook Watch, Facebook’s “long-form video destination.” In addition to following pages and profiles, the new feature will allow US users to follow topics as well.

Two new sections added include “Most Haha’d This Week” and “Most Loved This Week”. A user’s Facebook Watch feed will include content that’s popular in groups they’re a part of, and the content their friends are reacting to.

New topics can be added or removed at any time by users. Others will not be able to see the topics a user is following within Facebook Watch.
