Each day, over 175 million people message WhatsApp business accounts.
Facebook-owned WhatsApp is looking to up its investments into business features like shopping, Facebook hosting services and business sales. The company will broaden the ways in which consumers can see available products from businesses and complete purchases in chats.
Similarly, WhatsApp will provide businesses with ease of integrating new features from WhatsApp into existing ecommerce and customer solutions systems. The services will be rolled gradually in the coming months.
The company is looking to charge business customers for “some” of the services. Additionally, it aims to expand its partnership with business solutions providers. Businesses will have a new option which will allow them to manage their messages through hosting services that Facebook will offer.
