43% of US sellers are frustrated with doing repetitive admin tasks that could be automated

A study conducted by Beagle Research Group and Oracle revealed that sellers are unimpressed with their CRM systems.

As per the report, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems are impacting US sellers’ productivity and making them inefficient. Overall, 86% of sellers are frustrated with certain tasks of their jobs. Of these, repetitive administrative tasks that could be automated (43%) and updating multiple systems (38%) were the biggest frustrations.

Entering notes in the system and updating or working in multiple systems was found to be time consuming by 35% and 34% of sellers respectively. Also, because of faulty CRM data, 85% of sellers said they made “potentially embarrassing mistakes”.

Most sellers (55%) use a combination of applications, which aren’t integrated that well. Only 47% of sellers said they use CRM systems regularly. 40% use CRMs as intended.
