Visual Objects recently polled 500 small business owners and managers in the US.
Small businesses in the US might be at a disadvantage as they look to diverting attention away from SEO and video marketing efforts in 2021, as per the report. Of those polled, 64% of small businesses run email marketing campaigns without a CRM or marketing software.
When asked about video marketing budgets, 19% of small businesses plan to lower investments in video marketing. Production expenses, remote coordination struggles, and the ability to produce content in-house are driving down video marketing budgets.
10% of small businesses propose to invest more in SEO. However, most small businesses (73%) claim social media to be one of their most successful digital marketing channels. Stephanie Brown, a social media consultant and coach says social media enables businesses to have an authentic connection with their customers.
