The new manual actions can be found on Google News content policies and Google Discover content policies section.

Google recently published a set of manual actions for Google News and Google Discover policies and guidelines. These manual actions will be applied by Google’s human reviewers to penalise a website or a webpage that violates Google’s posted webmaster guidelines.

Before this, Google only had manual actions for Google web search-related guidelines. These guidelines can help brands understand specific manual actions and publish content and documents without violating policies around Google News and Google Discover.

News and Discovery violations include dangerous, harassing, hateful content, manipulated media, medical content, sexually explicit content, terrorist content and more. “Transparency”, misleading content, and adult-themed content are some of the violations for Discovery and News content.
