Creating mobile-friendly websites can help brands boost conversions, as 70% of mobile searches lead to an action within an hour.

According to Website Builder Expert’s recent report, 94% of the first user impressions of a site are design-related. Users spend 5.94 seconds looking at a home page and 66% appreciate a beautifully designed website.

Placing compelling photographs and illustrations on the main page can help brands create a good first impression. Further, websites with clear headings, calls-to-action (CTAs), are more user friendly, as scannable texts are ranked 47% higher in usability.

With 44% of users leaving a business site with no contact details, having a visual hierarchy can help brands retain visitors. Since users prefer tailored experiences (54%) and real-time deals (59%), brands could do well to provide these on their sites. Improve site loading time by using compressed images and smart content loading.
