With a majority of marketers considering influencer marketing as an effective communication strategy, it is imperative for brands to include it in their 2021 marketing plans. For 42% of marketers, influencer marketing leads as the top ROI-generating marketing strategy.
The results of influencer marketing have been as good or better than pre-COVID levels for 90% marketers. 54% of respondents reported using automated platforms and agencies to execute influencer marketing. Instagram is the platform of choice for 96% of marketers for influencer partnerships.
Nano-influencers and micro-influencers are preferred choices among marketers, with 88% of marketers wanting to work with influencers who have 100,000 followers or less and 35% with influencers who have less than 10,000 followers. However, determining the authenticity of influencers’ followers is the primary challenge for majority of marketers.
