Email marketing drives sales for SMBs

Email marketing messaging leads to 76% of subscribers purchasing from the channel.

A report by AWeber found that 36.1% of SMBs and entrepreneurs consider email to be the top channel at driving sales. Of all the respondents using email marketing, 94.6% consider it critically important to the overall strategy.

 For lead generation, content marketing is capable of generating three times more leads than outbound marketing, as per Demand Metric. But an SEMrush report discovered that creating content that results in quality leads is a challenge for 51% of businesses.

Sprout Social’s data suggests social media is used by 57% consumers to find out about new products and services. Another 47% respondents use the channel to learn company news. As per AWeber, social media is important for about 90% of SMBs.
