The YouTube Shorts feature is accessible through a tab displayed on the bottom of the screen on the YouTube mobile app.
All users in the United States can now use YouTube's in-app creation tools for Shorts, which now includes four new features. Along with the latest features, creators can use the Shorts camera in the YouTube mobile app to record, edit, and publish short clips.
Creators can now capture videos with the Shorts camera, with a maximum length of 15 and 60 seconds. Short videos with music from the YouTube library, however, will be limited to 15 seconds unless a creator owns the song.
Also users can switch to different filters while recording videos and in the edit screens, with colour correcting features. In addition, creators can either add automatic captions with speech-to-text technology or manually add their own captions.
