YouTube, the second most popular search engine after Google, currently has two billion monthly active users.
Sourced from YouTube, data suggests that so far in 2021, “Godzilla vs Kong” was the most popular search query on the platform globally, followed by “botella tras botella.” For US market, the top trending queries have been “drivers license olivia Rodrigo” followed by “no more parties.”
“Minecraft”, globally, and “Fortnite” in the US hold top spots of the “most searched things on YouTube of all time.” Of the topics that dominate channel subscriptions on YouTube, music and children’s content take the lead.
In 2021 so far, the T-Series channel (India) has 181 million subscribers. Next is YouTube Movies with 135 million and YouTube Music with 115 million subscribers. Sports and entertainment are other dominant topic categories.
