All recent features, including Spaces, Fleets and safety tools will be connected through Twitter Blue.
Twitter Blue, a paid subscription service, will allow users to access a variety of new features, including "Undo Tweet" and additional bookmarking tools. Users can also read long threads via the “Reader Mode”, can better organise saved tweets via the bookmark folder and change colours of the Twitter interface.
Sherman Standberry, co-founder, Lyfe Marketing, states, Twitter Blue will likely appeal more to “power users”, whereas it isn’t enticing enough for casual users. While there aren’t any advertiser-specific tools, Twitter says marketers can pinpoint, highly-engaged audiences with Twitter Blue.
At the moment, Twitter Blue is only available to users in Canada and Australia but will soon be launched in other markets. The company projects to have 315 million “monetisable daily active users” by the end of 2023.
