HubSpot’s recent survey found that Instagram Story videos are the most popular video format on the social platform.
With Instagram being the third most popular social media site among millennials and Gen Z, brands must leverage the platform to reach their prospects. Around 43% of survey respondents reported watching Instagram Story videos most often.
Around 24% of respondents said they watch Instagram Live videos most often, while another 24% said they watch videos shared in the Instagram feed most often. 19% of people watch Instagram Reels most often, and 13% watch IGTV most often.
But, 36% of respondents also said they do not use Instagram. The article suggests that to upload a video on Instagram, the video should be at least 1080 X 1080 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 4:5 and a maximum size of 250MB.
