HyperAuditor’s recent survey found that on average influencers earn $2,970 per month from their Instagram accounts.
As the influencer marketing industry grows, 49% of influencers report earning money from their Instagram accounts, and 47% saw their income rise, since the COVID-19 outbreak. Micro-influencers with 1,000 to 10,000 followers earn $1,420 per month on average, while those with over 1 million followers earn $15,356 per month on average.
40.15% of influencers ranked brand promotions as the main income source from Instagram, followed by personal brand development (21.71%) and affiliate programs (14.92%). At 56.06%, most brand collaborations are a hybrid of paid and barter (products and services) compensations.
Top earning categories for influencers are “Animal”, “Business & Marketing”, “Fitness & Sports”. 4% of influencers live from the revenue earned through their Instagram accounts. Of those polled, 68% work with one to three brands at any given time.
