Three out of four Americans expect access to a tailored wellbeing platform, according to a Welltok’s survey of more than 2,600 US adults.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, wellbeing has become a greater priority for 78% of Americans, according to the report. Because of COVID-19, 54% of individuals polled said their perspective of health and wellbeing has progressed, and their requirements have changed.
Of those surveyed, 78% of responders said wellbeing support from their employer or health plan is more important than ever. Moreover, seven out of 10 Americans said they relish using a well-being platform.
April Gill, Welltok’s chief strategy officer, says having a dedicated wellbeing platform was “incredibly valuable for people” during the pandemic. With many Americans' health and wellbeing perception having changed, there are significant opportunities for companies, notes Gill.
