According to Horizon Media, 55% of Americans in 2021 consume much of their television through digital platforms like streaming services.

The report highlights emerging trends in the US this year, driven by COVID-19. With a 110% surge in business applications from April 2020 to April 2021, Americans are building their pathways to financial security.

During COVID-19, 35% of people reported earning extra income from additional occupations. Further, 68% respondents wish to reduce their carbon footprint and 61% state that sustainable manufacturing methods play a crucial role in their purchasing decisions.

While 78% of consumers hope to retain some of the online/mobile buying habits they adopted during the pandemic, 59% expect checkout counters to be discontinued. In addition, consumers are prioritising self-care and emotional health, while also emphasising humanity and kindness. Consumers are loyal to companies that integrate diversity and inclusion into their online ads.
