Many SMEs have also been victims of cyberattacks in the last year. According to Hiscox, 23% of SMEs were attacked in 2020, and one in six felt cyber attacks threatened their survival due to the attacks.

Working with vendors who have comprehensive data protection policies should be a key priority for marketers who use various third-party solutions, platforms, and APIs.
