Snapchat has announced new upcoming ad targeting tools to put a greater emphasis on its Snap ad campaigns. Snap’s new ad targeting options include “Content Consumption”, “Camera Usage”, “Compare Custom Audience”.
The content consumption option can help marketers target audiences based on their content consumption habits. Brands can leverage the compare custom audience tool to differentiate audience data and discover new marketing opportunities.
Brands can use camera usage insights to inform decisions around their AR ads. Also, because these new ad targeting options are based on usage habits within the app, they will be unaffected by Apple's ATT update or Google's impending privacy changes.
