The featured entrepreneurs will compete to outsell their products on live TV.

With its latest show, “America’s a big deal”, NBCUniversal will make its debut in the shoppable TV space that enables the company to conduct on-air sales in real-time. The show will see entrepreneurs pitch their products to audiences and generate sales during the live show.

The contestant with the highest sales at the end of the buying window wins a chance to negotiate deals with one of the show’s three retail giants. They include Lowe’s, Macy’s, and QVC/HSN. NBCU has named all shoppable TV opportunities that the media company offers “One Platform Commerce”.

NBCU will launch the show on its USA Network and feature nine contestants across the first two shows. The contestants have invented a variety of products, ranging from hair-care products to dental care for pets.
