Influencer marketing will be a key revenue driver for B2C brands

Based on HubSpot’s latest survey of 1,067 global marketers, this article highlights the top B2C marketing trends of 2022.

The study found that 51% of B2C marketers plan to increase their marketing budget, with an emphasis on influencer marketing and short-form videos. In fact, marketers reported the short-form video trend content offered the second-highest ROI for B2C marketers in 2021, behind only influencer marketing.

When asked which B2B marketing tactics provide the most robust ROI, most respondents said influencer marketing, followed by short-form videos. As a result, 61% of marketers plan to leverage influencer marketing in 2020. Additionally, influencer marketing is the third-highest trend they plan to prioritise, behind short-form video content and inbound marketing.

Data suggests marketers are increasingly adding audio to their marketing mix. Increasing brand awareness, advertising products, and increasing revenue are the top B2C marketing campaign goals for 2022. But, brands should keep in mind that consumers want and expect businesses to be more transparent and take a stand on social media.
